The temperature limit for professional racing is 71.5°F (21.9°C). As the temperature hovered around this mark, the final decision was made on the morning of race day. I was at Langener Waldsee on Wednesday when the specified water temperature was 21.8°C. After a few nice hot days, it was already 22.1 ° C Friday and Saturday it had risen to 22.5 ° C.
