He grew up in New England and then attended Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Whitman School of Management in 1994. Lord. He has litigated civil litigation before the Delaware Superior Court, the Court of Chancery, and the U.S. District Courts, including the handling of appeals to the Delaware Supreme Court and the Third and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Mr. Rizzo has represented several clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including commercial creditors, equipment rental companies, insurance companies, service providers and contractors. He frequently represents clients in connection with preferential debts, receiverships, dissolutions and fraudulent transfers. He is frequently invited to work as a local attorney in Delaware state and federal courts, as well as in bankruptcy court.
