I began my career in private practice and have led litigation in tangible and commercial litigation. But a year ago, I left the law firm to start my company, Davis Legal Media. Now I help lawyers and business owners create compelling content that tells a powerful story about who they are and what they do, fosters new business relationships and positions them as a leader in their fields. Davis Legal Media provides lawyers in solo and small law firms with ghosting books, Bylined articles, speech texts, and professional biographies. “We work with lawyers who understand the value of content, but are intimidated by the digital realm and don`t know how to professionally publish their work online,” she said. His goal is to help lawyers reconnect with their “why,” noting, “Presumably, my clients started practicing law so they could serve clients and not engage in social media and content marketing.

As a litigator and now as a content writer, I`ve worked with some of the greatest legal minds in the country. My grandfather always told me to constantly surround myself with people who were much smarter than me, and I certainly did. My life – and my career – are much richer for that. Lawyers are under enormous pressure in their daily work. I constantly read discouraging statistics about the astonishing rates of depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders among lawyers. Because we lawyers are usually so motivated, independent and autonomous, many do not seek help or support.
